This type of action might seem aggressive, but I find it really troubling that a business (the Camp) would try to exploit the members’ mandatory service by selling stuff using the members’ names and images without compensating the members.
I also understand Hybe wanting to prevent the government and other entities from using BTS’ name, images, etc for tourist sites especially because the maintenance of some of these murals/landmarks seems questionable in some situations. Most people don’t know that BTS and Hybe are not connected to these sites at all and may have bad impression if these sites are poorly maintained.
The Camp thing is v disturbing and I hope that the actions they take against it are helpful for others who may be exploited by it.
