What according to you does Yun’s lyrics mean? I know it’s inspired by a korean artist who believed one needs to be a human before an artist, but I’m willing to discuss some of the different interpretations of the [lyrics](https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/2022/12/02/yun/), especially that of the chorus cause it’s been one year plus indigo dropped and the lyrics of this track has engaged me so much I think the possibilities are endless! So I would love to hear what YOU think the lyrics mean and especially focusing on the line “cause true beauty is true sadness bow you could feel my madness”
Please share your own interpretations to the lyrics I don’t mind how long they are they’re always lovely to read!

one of the possible ones that i could come up with is that in the chorus ofc he states what the author believes in and what he’s learnt from him that is to be a human before doing some art (in what sense i don’t know please lemme know if someone has something regarding how to be a human before an artist)
then he goes on to say that it’s a cruel world with lots of negativity around but his part, his contribution to this cruel world is his art, which he hopes contributes towards reducing the cruelty in the world and somehow gives a hope or new energy to it
the “true beauty is true sadness” could mean that the most beautiful things are the ones suffering the most and has dark undertones to it but conceals it under its beauty, and THAT fact makes him mad and pity those pretty things that he knows are hiding a lot underneath it and maybe is just sad in silence
but i have a feeling it is a very surface level understanding what i could gather
What I like about art & music is that it can be interpreted in multiple subjective ways; often there is the age old tale that one has “suffer for your art” & many artists have suffered, but suffering is a part of being human, I know the song is referencing a specific artist, but imo I think separating the art from the artist (that is, not what most of culture does). There are ofc philosophical questions about is good art produced from suffering or does good art only come from suffering, but perhaps I message I subjectively take is that suffering is apart of life, of human life just like any other human emotion or experience or existence
Sometimes though I just like the song for its pace rather than ponder on the meaning. Which is a subjective response
