Throughout the years, I’ve been collecting a certain amount of locations related to BTS official content. Everything has been reunited in two Google maps:

* [BTS places](https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=14LB4q7XzxudNHza0FVuN1FRSSyzYNGzn&usp=sharing): all the MVs and Concept Photo;
* [BTS content](https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=1euA9EMWk8wgIXfggwqK8erSQZIrxILY8&usp=sharing): DVD packages (Summer/Winter packages, NOW photobooks, Season’s Greetings), shows (Run BTS! episodes, Bon Voyage, In The Soop), and concert venues.

Little disclaimer though: despite the quantity, I’m far from having found all the places. Also, there are no exact locations for hotels or dorms (for example, the RUN BTS episode they filmed in a hotel in London is located in… London, no exact location, we just want the general idea here).

While looking at those maps, I noticed a few funny things that I wanted to share.

**It happened at the same place**

**To the conquest of the world!**

* With the release of “FRI(END)S” (filmed in London) Kim Taehyung confirms he owns West Europe (*Layover* was filmed in Spain), Jeon Jungkook already has East Europe (“Standing Next to You” in Hungary) and Middle East (“Dreamers” in Qatar) for himself, while Min Yoongi conquered South East Asia (“Haegeum” in Thailand). And then you got j-hope and Jimin being roommates forever in New York (“On the Street” and “Closer Than This”)

**All for the artistic direction**

* They literally crossed Korea from East to West in just one day (Harumaaaaaaaa) for the [*YOU NEVER WALK ALONE* Concept Photo](https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1757237010960523): Jumunjin beach at dawn, Jangan University in the afternoon, and Daebudo Island late in the evening;
* There are three MVs for *D-DAY* and each has an interesting location in relation to its song. [“사람 Pt.2 (feat. 아이유)”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVD-YgzDzyY) (People Pt.2) was filmed in an isolated place,
[“해금”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy9qZR_OGa0)(Haegeum), that’s basically an action movie, was filmed in busy Bangkok, while [“Amygdala”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX1dkYoLHVs) was filmed in a tiny area in Seoul’s outskirts (so near home).

**What. The. F… ri(end)s**

* Could someone explain to me why all the filming locations in LA are almost on a single vertical line? Is it a special meridian? Like you get luck and success if you film on it ?
* During the [“For You” MV](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTG6nxwdhyA) filming, it seems RM and Jin seceded from the group who was in Wolmido to go aaaaaaaaaaall the way to PAJU (near where they filmed the VCR for 화양연화 Epilogue by the way and far far more to the North) to shoot their gas station scene. For those wondering, yes, there are several gas stations in Wolmido;
* The bar in which they took RM’s picture for the [“War of Hormones” Concept Photo](https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.935919776423285), Goodneck, was owned by Cho Seunghoon. And you know him. Yes, you do. You’ve seen him before. Since he’s an extra in [“No More Dream MV”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBG5L7UsUxA) 😀 ([try looking for this guy](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EXsVqvjXYAUqj8N?format=jpg&name=medium)).
