This is so sweet and wholesome, I love it!
Years ago, I frequented a local diner in an old train car, and like Tae’s video, it was an all walks of life, meeting at the crossroads kind of place. The waitresses were so sweet! The cook would call out “I need some ‘maters and some ‘taters”, they would just roll their eyes at the old joke. 🙄 I was showing my lunch buddy some bracelets I made, the waitresses (mom and daughter) admired, ended up buying every last one using their tip money!
Several months after the diner closed, I went to a chain restaurant for breakfast and the same waitress (the mom) recognized me by my order ‘cause I always ordered the same thing! 😃
