It is true we don’t know them personally or see them off camera but it is a known fact in industry that BTS boys have very good personalities and we have heard numerous stories from people who work with them off camera saying how humble and kind they are despite their success
So what are the moments/stories that made you realize damn these people are really too kind

off the top of my head:
1. when running man’s ji suk jin had to call jin during a segment on a variety show, and jin picked up even though he was in the netherlands and was asleep, and didn’t even know suk jin was calling because he was on a how
2. jin is close with chef lee yeonbok, and chef lee once mentioned how his grandson wanted jin’s autograph and chef lee told him about it. jin readily agreed and went straight down to give the autograph even though he had just finished performing at the sowoozoo muster concert
3. yoongi offering to pay for yijeong’s treatment fees to fix his voice, no matter how much it cost, even though yoongi wasn’t earning much back then 🥺
It was a profoundly not-smart move, but I can’t fault the kindheartedness behind the impulse that led JK to venture into a crowd to greet an ARMY using a wheelchair at a concert in Paris in 2019.
Nu’Est was at an awards show. There were four of them, but there were only three chairs at the spot assigned for them. They decided to deal with the problem by standing. V saw the problem and found an extra chair for them.
Okay I’m sorry for the kboo link but how much [philanthropy](https://www.koreaboo.com/lists/bts-jhope-charity-donations-social-causes-help-money/) our Hobi does, and the fact that most of it isn’t even reported, ARMY sleuths figured out a lot just from social media posts.
I love that yeah they can edit and you do act in front of the camera but after watching all the bon voyages, in the soops, run bts…you can just tell they are all nice people. All 7 of them.
My fave BTS moment that still pops into my head years later is a scene in In the Soop season 1. It MIGHT be episode 3 but it is right before Jin and hobi go on a run and Jin is at the keyboard playing waiting for hobi. He hits the keys, shakes his head and makes this face that is so hilarious and I cant explain it but it is Jin being Jin.
(also when he bumps his shoulder getting out of the tent in the morning. and when the bee attacks him. when he chokes on a mango, when he is setting fireworks. every scene him and yoongi are in etc) Im gonna watch in the soop again right now
After 11 years, at least half of those as living legends the fact literally every story you hear is about how nice they are is kind of amazing.
A tik tok creator once talked about a “seven member group who starts with B” having a member who didn’t bow back to her when she was working in the entertainment industry and she turned off comments so I think it was an engagement bait and not about them or not true (and even if true the way she told the story it sounded like she went out of her way to run and bow at him and ignoring her would have been the smart thing to do). Literally that was the ONE time I saw even a hint at anything and with so many people wanting to take them down you know they actually have to be really really nice in real life to have such a consistently good reputation.
🐿️When Hobi secretly sponsored a dog shelter when he saw in what conditions they were living because of the lack of means.
💜 I’m not sure which concert it was but when they put food and water for army because they knew they’ve been waiting.
🐰When Jungkook bought expensive hamburgers during their debut for the host of their variety show Jo Seho, even though they didn’t have much money back then.
🐣🐨 During In the Soop, when Jimin chose the room he preferred and was so happy about it but willingly switched it with Namjoon because he’s a light sleeper and couldn’t rest in his room.
🐯 When Tae went on a trip in Mexico (if I remember well?) and he offered to pay for the vet bill of a stray dog named Perro. I hope Perro found a loving forever home now.
There are so many moments in which they are kind to their staff. Especially so in Run BTS episodes, but behind the scenes in Bangtan bombs too.
Being able to treat staff with the same respect and kindness that they extend to other celebrities or superiors is proof that they’re exactly the same as they always were before the fame and money.
