Damn. I remember liking the song but the heaviness of the MV made me shy away from liking it too much. Then I saw it done live at the D-Day concert and it made me love it.
I cried my eyes out when I first saw this MV. I cried for Yoongi and his pain, and also for myself, because I could so, so relate to his lyrics. He is indeed a musical and lyrical genius, and just an all around great person with a big heart. I’m so glad he’s doing better now.
A whole year!
Oh Yoongi. May each day be a small triumph, baby. 💜
From this music video release to finally walking through the door at the day 3 finale we really went on such a journey with Yoongi 🪷
Will forever be thankful for Yoongi to let us like this, such a personal and powerful statement of catharsis and healing
So much admiration for Yoongi sharing his story translating it to hauntingly beautiful music so others struggling feel seen🥺 such a healing song.
I remember seeing the MV and omfg. Trauma sees trauma. It just unearthed a bunch of buried trauma that I was not ready to deal with.
…I’ll always appreciate how much he poured into this song and video – it remains my favorite track on the album, and, I still think it’s one of his all-time best, and most significant…it was an important part of his healing process to re-live the past and present his vulnerability in such a beautiful way ❤️🩹
This is a 10 out of 10 song and video. Anyone says K-pop has no substance needs to be shown this video.
still find this video very hard to watch, forever grateful to yoongi for sharing this with us ❤️🩹🫶🏻
This video led to The Door at the final Seoul concert, one of the most breathtaking things I’ve ever seen. I’ll always be grateful to Min Yoongi for letting us into his darkest days.
This is such a beautiful and powerful music video (and song). I’m so grateful Yoongi shared this with us.
That thumbnail image is still so hard for me to look at!
A beautiful song though, one of my favorites on the album. 💜
As someone who self harms due to trauma I can’t tell you all how important this MV is to me even apart from the wonderful song. Just not shying away from that or the meds…it was a really powerful statement and I wish I could thank him for it. I try to “save” watching this MV for when times are really tough. I love how brave he is when talking about mental health issues.
Plus the concept and execution of the video is great. It really tells a story and captures the weird way time feels when you’re recovering from trauma.
