Ahem. What about this one?! Are they going to ignore it?!
Of ALL their songs… I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. They usually have a great soundtrack. I’m sure it’ll fit whatever scene it’s in. But there were just so many better options.
Very unserious. I will be seated.
I mean I’ll definitely watch it but that’s a bit uninspired. Imagine a masquerade ball with House of Cards or Pied Piper….
There are obviously other songs in Bangtan’s catalog that would be more appropriate but given that many non-fans, even people I know IRL don’t know anything besides Dynamite, Butter and maybe PTD this doesn’t surprise me.
Even if this was an uninspired choice I do like Dynamite so curious to see how it’s used. Or I might be wrong and this was the most appropriate song lol. Either way I have been meaning to check out Bridgerton so maybe this will finally make me 😆
Dynamite is okay but there are more to BTS than just Dynamite (I believe they probably chose it because it was in English) like Black Swan, Fake Love, BS&T, House of Cards, Lie, Baepsae, Interlude: Shadow and many more.
This is probably the Vitamin String Quartet version, since VSQ has provided the OST of the series before.
I have no interest in Bridgerton whatsoever, but this is cool!! Still think they could have picked Black Swan instead, but maybe Dynamite will fit the show better.
Good for BTS but every single bone in my body seethes with hate towards Bridgerton.
As a historian and historical fashion enthusiast, even watching the commercials or stills from the show fills me with a rage that can only be expressed via ranting about the inaccuracies for several hours. Although I love my realism, I concede that not every show must be historically accurate as creative licence is fully allowed, but the construction of the clothing is beyond atrocious if you understand anything about textile art.
