the groan i let out when i saw that this is digital code only… i’m still extremely annoyed that i can’t watch PTD on stage properly on my TV (it just won’t play???), and i don’t wanna spend money on this to experience that frustration again ☹️
edit: 240pp photobook AND 28 PCs??? that’s one PC per tour date 🥺
They really said “sorry no dvd/bluray but here are TWENTY EIGHT PHOTOCARDS.”
Edit – Just wanted to add, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But abandon all hope of video on disc from HYBE groups at this point. They started doing digital code only option with Newjeans’ memories, and have since done so with PTD on stage, Le Sserafim’s memories, TXT’s memories, Seventeen’s fanmeeting, etc.
Not sure why – my best guess is bolstering the value of their Weverse platform while streamlining their own supply lines. It’s not consumer friendly but…it’s par for the course nowadays.
No DVD/BD 😭😭 But I will still buy it for the photobook

“while supplies last” is the worst thing i could’ve seen
The digital code trend is souring my excitement for any concert movie now. I’ve been collecting DVDs since LY Seoul and I always put them in now and then to watch. Had to skip out on PTD and now D-Day here. Not worth to spend close to $100 for a code on cardboard.
I don’t mind digital codes as long as it’s downloadable. It’s one less thing that is plastic.
Torn cause so many photocards I want but I hate digital media. Not everyone has good internet outside South korea 🥲
This show meant the world to me and I’ve been looking forward to owning this for the past year but no physical dvd really bothers me. This is not the way to go. I want to be able to hold it in my hands and watch when I want and not have to trust their platform will be around forever.
May just relive this in my memories and the videos I took and be content with that.
…never purchased any of these digital code releases before so kinda nervous about not getting it to work, but I WILL RISK IT FOR THIS!…bummed about it not being an actual fuckin’ DVD, but, with all the extras that come with this and given how much this tour meant to me and how long I’ve waited for this release: there is no way in hell I would ever pass this up…here you go again, Hybe – take my damn money! 🤑💰💵

Maybe a silly question but is this a Weverse only thing or do you think other larger places that also sell BTS albums (aka target) might get a stock of these? I’ve never bought anything from the Weverse site before and while I’m VERY bummed about the no dvd 🥲 I kinda want the photo books/ pcs

The only good part of digital is that it would be permanent but it wouldn’t be as satisfying as popping it in the cd player… oh well. But the 28 pcs are insane – aren’t those every selfie he took before and after each tour 😭
😭the wait was too long and still no dvd, maybe I shd get the Japan one but that has no subtitles😕 I hope the encore final is as it was when it was live streamed and not the edited movie cut. 🙄
All I wanted was a physical DVD I could keep and watch rather than relying online 😭 will be getting it but why!!
Ooof, sorry but I went from wanting to buy this to not buying it all. I’ll wait for it to be uploaded somewhere. I can’t justify paying $69+ shipping for a digital code. I’m not a merch person. I want the actual video. Why can’t they sell it separately if it’s just a digital code? Then whoever wants the extra can pay for it in the boxed version.
