Interesting… I wonder if Jin contacted Big Hit to say they interpreted him incorrectly and he wanted Army who have supported albums over the last year there.
To be fair that is much more appreciative, and what I thought the criteria was.
Glad it’s being sorted anyway. Even if I can’t go.
Edit: I say that about Jin, because Papagao translation includes the line:

I was waiting for one from an Army Translator, but looks like there aren’t any.

i thought the initial notice did say as long as you purchased the solo albums after proof you’re good to enter the raffle. i was so confused why there was a sudden buying spree earlier — can those orders still be cancelled? genuine question, because the one time i ordered thru weverse shop directly was for proof.
This is good. It’s added protection for Jin to make the criteria more exclusive.
Did they mention when they were going to change the requirements? Or will they announce it? I have already purchased the astronaut years ago when it first came out, wondering if that one is also valid then.
Interesting..I did wonder what Jin would have thought about having to buy again, given his previous reactions to Hybe’s pricing for the artist-made merch.
TLDR: they are considering changing the entry requirement for jin’s event to include those who purchased albums released after “proof” from weverse shop global before the application period.
ohhh this is a really nice change! i’ve bought every version of every album since proof so i really didn’t want to buy any more and create waste, and it’s nice to reflect a thanks for armies who have supported them this whole time! i’m glad they’ve reconsidered and i don’t doubt that jin had some input in this change
This is more fair, but given the actual circumstances i hope they put special security meassures….There’s too many people keen on using this event as the oportunity to send Jin a “message”
That was obvious to me, though? Or, at least, I immediately thought it counted for anyone who purchased after Proof, that’s what the first notice said. Am I getting it wrong?
I wonder what brought around this change. I know a lot of fans complained about it and rightfully so – it came across as just another cash grab by HYBE.
I thought the initial notice mentioned this already, but maybe the wording was unclear to a lot of people?
Although I’m not going coz I’m not in Korea, for the sake of others, I really do hope they change it to allow recent album purchases to be eligible.
Hybe worker, if you’re reading this, pls do change it. It’s wasteful and not a good image for hybe if you don’t change the eligibility criteria.
I just want Jin to be safe. That’s the top priority here. I want us to have fun celebrating Festa and having Jin back, but with everything going on right now I just want him safe.
I just hope they do thorough checks on anyone who ends up winning the raffle
Omg do I understand it correctly that the more albums you would buy the more chances you would have? That’s so unfair, I’m not even sure about spending another 30 dollar shipping on an album that I already have 2 of when chances are so low
personally, i think it would be better if purchase of only the astronauts would be counted. these ppl who won fan events for other members already bought loads of loads of cds and if it’d be counted they may win again. it’s not fair for seokjin bias i guess…?
