My friend just sent me this tweet from one of Jean’s friends, informing us that she passed away on May 18th after a battle with cancer. I followed her religiously for news on merch and she was a huge part of my fandom experience.
Rest in Peace, Jean.

This is so sad. She was a very important part of our community and was always thinking about ARMY and BTS.
Rest in power, Jean.
This is heartbreaking. She had tweeted at the beginning of the year that she would be less active because of some serious health issues but I had no idea it was something this serious.
Rest in Peace, Jean.
I’m truly so sad about this news. She worked so so hard for BTS and ARMY and was such an integral part of our community.
I remember really realizing how important she was when I went to a concert for another group with a very large fanbase and couldn’t find any info about merch anywhere. No one updating about lines, no one showing what was in stock, you just had to figure it out yourself when you got there. I think I had taken for granted how much hard work she did, but that event really hammered home for me how valuable she was.
This also got me thinking about how there are so many people that are fandom famous and are very important parts of the ARMY community that BTS themselves likely have no idea about. Especially on the international side. We are all here for BTS of course, but we really do have our own community relationships that are just for us and at times hold just as much importance as the ones we have with BTS. It’s a special, beautiful thing.
Jean, you will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her friends and family and all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
It’s very sad. I appreciated all the work her account did to keep us up to date about the various merch BTS had. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. May Jean rest in peace.
So sad, I started following her account when I went to PTD LA to see the boys for the first time. Ever since then for me it had been one of the trustworthy valuable information accounts about merch and concerts in US. (I live in Japan so her constant updates for the US concerts and onsite merch was EXTREMELY helpful.) I truly appreciate what she did for our community and her love/dedication for the boys. Rest in peace, Jean.
It broke my heart to find this out. I clung to her guidance on ticketing for Yoongi’s concert. Jean’s account is a testament for her steadfast and wholehearted support of BTS and her presence in the fandom will be sorely missed.
😔 This is heartbreaking news. I couldn’t start to imagine how much work she put in to keep us all informed and updated on everything BTS-merch related. Rest in peace, Jean, and thank you.💜
So sad to hear her passing. Her account was really a valuable source for merch info especially for merch sold outside Weverse and during concerts. I remember the frenzy during the selling of BTS’s Artist Collection, and she kept updating each time there was a restock. Rest in peace, Jean.
She was such an integral part of our community. Jean was special. And to know she posted the day before she died as usual updating us on merch. Man this loss is hard
Devastating. Peace to her family. 🙁
This is so sad. She mentioned she was sick so updates will be slow, but I didn’t know it was so serious. Took a look at her account and she was updating us until the very end. Rest in peace, Jean. Thank you so much for all you did for us. 💜
That is so so sad. Jean was a great pillar of the fanbase and I always used their account possibly the entire 7 years I’ve been an army for updates. Rest in peace friend
This is a huge loss. So sad 😢
So sad to hear this. I’ve always appreciated her hard work in keeping us updated about merch and her helpful tips for ticketing and such. May Jean rest in peace.
