It's been so great to see how much praise this project has received and how it has resonated with so many people.
What do you think about what this means for BIGHIT?
You think they will push it for Grammy season?
I personally find it so heartwarming that a project that is so Namjoon has been praised so much (and that he's aware of it!!!!)

I hope they push it. I think it’s deserving of a nomination. But we should all keep in mind that if in half the year there are 8 equally acclaimed albums, some excellent albums will not be nominated and people will be yelling “snubbed!”
I want RPWP to get a nomination but I’m going to try to be satisfied with the recognition it’s getting right now. It’s amazing, honestly. I couldn’t imagine what he was going to follow indigo with. Like, how could he impress more?
This is huge! RPWP Album of the Year!
Hope BigHit pushes this album for Grammys, they need to up their marketing to make it known within the Grammy community.
The album truly deserves some nomination!
I hope BigHit submits in non-main categories this time. Genuinely think he has a chance for a nod in something like Alternative Album where more weight is given to critical acclaim than pure sales/streams. And the “pop star takes a serious turn” narrative might not be as big a deterrent there for him as it might initially seem, cuz it’s a narrative Grammy voters have recognized before.
(Yeah, I know this wouldn’t be an accurate narrative for Joon because he’s long experimented lyrically and sonically in his songs, but with the big US awards, you always end up developing some sort of narrative. Some reviews have contrasted RPWP against his BTS work so it’s already been kinda forming. I know BH’s hands are tied in some respects, but I hope they held one of his magazine interviews where he talks in-depth about art in reserve.)
I don’t know if they will push for it. Since mono we’ve been hoping he’ll get nominated in the grammys. JITB, Indigo were both critically acclaimed albums of 2022, and D-day, Like Crazy, Seven and SNTY were also critically acclaimed and were in a lot of best of 2023 lists, with numbers to back it up, but nothing from bighit or the members.
I don’t know who will do it, but if any of the people who collaborated with him can submit, maybe they will. Namjoon worked with a lot of well known experts (and winners) in their field, like the director of Come back to me. Maybe he will.
I just want this album to go as far as possible and for Namjoon to feel proud and validated! Critical acclaim aside, he is one of the most talented artists I’ve ever come across and is beyond deserving of the recognition he’s getting now (and more if possible!).
