Ooooooh who is different from what I was imagining but I loveeeee.
I think slow dancing is going to be bossa nova ish which I love.
Also obsessed with her graphics they’re using for this release.
Edit; ok since it’s clear who isn’t a rock opera anthem my new chaotic theory is that we’re going to get some crazy vocals on rebirth (think Ari’s sweetener intro)

Showtime sounds like the intro for Face-Off, and going straight into SGMB sounded great. I seriously love the colours and the aesthetics. The cassette + the boom box is so 80s/90s.
The Blooming vs Serenade makes so much sense now. The Serenade part seems to come when Slow Dance starts and leans more into romantic/jazz.
I know Joon said MUSE is like a theme park, but for me it’s more of a school dance/prom where the party songs get played in the beginning and the slow dance/romantic songs get played near the end. It also reminds me of courtship lol where one person claims “I love you babe!” like in SGMB, and then it leads into the softer sweetness of a budding relationship as they Slow Dance and the confession/professing love in Be Mine and Who and finally Closer than This.
I need this album NOW!
The first few tracks do sound like a festival – a Jimin Festival 🤩 I love every snippet of each track

partially wishing the minimoni music show was filmed after joon enlisted so we could get sax!joon playing the sax to “slow dance” 🥲

I really like what I’m hearing from slow dancing & be mine is feeling like it it’s gonna give us a little filter vibe.

I’m SOOOO excited for this!!!!! I was really hoping for clips with his voice in it, but I’ll take what I can get. Closer than This sounds so different in this highlight medley which makes me wonder if all of the songs sound a little different from what they will actually sound like?
Be Mine is going to be THAT song! Also, the bonus live clip for 8/4, could that be the snippet teased on IG yesterday? Jimin and Evan in the dance studio with just a guitar. An acoustic version of Be Mine maybe? 
I don’t know if it’s my age talking or if it’s because Sergent Pepper has been mentioned so many times but I hear a clear Beatles influence.
And then the sax on Slow Dance made me think of George Michael ‘s careless whisper.
The songs in general remind me of Serendipity & Filter. Definitely wayyyy different than how FACE sounds.
Seems like WHO is an English track? I’m excited. It sounds really promising
Edit: I’m also actually glad it’s only instrumentals. I don’t really like highlight medleys usually because they spoil too much but these are just the right amount of teasing!

I’m really looking forward to his new album. Im loving the kinda old school vibes. The type of songs being played back in the 80s/90s. Perfect album for the summer.

Did I hear Spanish guitar? I didn’t realise it until now, but somehow Spanish guitar feels so Jimin. I can imagine it blending reallllly well with his voice.
And this does sound like a theme park. No ‘fuck all you opps here’. We’re happy, we’ve moved on, we’re embracing life. 💜

This is shaping up to be one hell of an EP for me, just fresh, bright, sexy and fun and I am loving it! Perfect for the summer. Especially the Slow Dance – Be Mine – Who run sound so immaculate. Even the intro Rebirth sounds bright and hopeful. Really cant wait for the 19th, 5 more days to go and they will surely be dragging by.
Also the whole aesthetics and the colour palettes of MUSE are just beautiful and perfect, so different from that of FACE and I love it, I love how he is showing us all the different sides of him like this.
