Alright hold up, what is going on especially with that guy, a leash and the dog(??). Watching this once is not enough – brb while I watch it again and read other people theories
Was expecting to see someone to open the door and a fight to happen, turns out he was trapped outside because he lost his key and Tannie was the one who he was after all along.
He was there for yeontan.
I don’t know what’s going on with this Tae vs. Maintenance Guy drama in the video, but both Tae and the song are pretty. 💜
I’m so confused. He was looking for his dog? I’ll wait for smarter people to share their understanding of it so I can have an ‘Ahhh that seems right’ moment.

So was he running after the building manager to get keys? Haha but also maybe he was locked out/kicked out by whoever’s inside the apartment and the guy was told not to let him back in so the guy saw him and started running away when he spotted Taehyung.
Taehyung stopping/giving up after running down several flights of stairs is quite the message. And sitting on the swing just letting it all sink in…and the girl giving him his dog back at the end maybe 😀

Hahaha when the footage of this was teased initially, I joked to my friends that he was clearly looking for YEONTAN and not embroiled in romantic drama and apparently I was correct.

Tae was trying to pick up Yeontan from the dog sitter’s but they and the maintenance man were up to no good (why he ran away when he saw Tae). Has Yeontan been dognapped??? 😱
While sitting at the park trying to figure out what to do, a familiar little face appears…but it’s not Yeontan! It’s Rocky!!

Im so confuse on the story, but the fact almost all his MVs literally has focus on Yeontan so much, im loving it!!
Im guessing Yeontan goy kidnapped?? As everyone is saying, Dude acted suspisious and Tae went after him for it but who was he going after at the other door he was knocking on???
Edit: guessing he went to an ex?? In order to get tannie back from them, but the person in the end just lets go of tannie nearby and leaves??
Damn I didn’t notice how crazy that jacket was in the teasers and obviously my man pulls it off like no tomorrow, loved the b&w and the whole look with the eyeliner and hairstyle 😍🫠 the vibe was immaculate for Blue but I wish there was a bit more storyline and a female lead definitely could’ve helped it even if they didn’t show her face but like I kinda got it still obviously but it definitely feels unfinished/open ended 😩 *Yeontan* always coming to the rescue 🥺

I think the moral of the story is to have the custody conversation before the breakup.
Aww Tae is trying to get Tannie back. There used to be a key under the flowerpot and the security guy is fed up with him. The woman finally released Tannie back to Tae. And man Tae can act and get this man in a movie or something again pronto!
Random theory, probably completely wrong but whatever:
It seems like this MV comes first in chronological order. The whole album is about reminiscing the past, more specifically a previous relationship. In this video he is still actively trying to get back together with his ex, but he can’t reach them. They won’t open the door or pick up the phone. He keeps trying, because he is stuck in this mindset (the repetition/loop also features in the Rainy Days MV). Eventually he gives up and meets ‘Yeontan’, who might play a part in the process of getting over his past love. Side note: his hair is longer in this video and it’s in black and white, which indicates that it takes place first.
In the Love Me Again MV, he is desperately singing about wanting to be loved by his ex. There is still longing, but less frustration compared to Blue. Then in the Rainy Days MV he is already close with ‘Yeontan’ and trying to find a way to deal with his feelings, maybe distracting himself. Finally, in the Slow Dancing MV he has created a fantasy world where he got over his feelings, or at least seems to reach some sort of acceptance/happiness (but is it really acceptance if this is not reality?). Besides, both Rainy Days and Slow Dancing have more chill vibes compared to the other two, so I think more time has passed. I’m curious about the For Us MV and how it could change this whole interpretation.
Or maybe it’s not about an ex, but about wanting to be with Yeontan haha (to be clear: this is all about a fictional story, I’m not making any claims about real events)

I have a theory!
He was looking after Yeontan! Probably when Taehyung and his ex were together they shared Yeontan, but after breaking up, he wanted his dog back. That’s why he was all worried because his ex didn’t want to return Yeontan to him. The janitor knew about the couple’s fight and that’s why he ran away when he saw Tae because he new Tae would ask him to open the door.
At the end Taehyung ex partnert felt sorry for him and decided to give him Yeontan back
When I see Taehyung so enamoured with Yeontan, I’m like “do I like my dog that much?”
I’m enjoying all the theories – my two main thoughts were just a) Blue is a certified jam and b) Tae is gorgeous in black and white 🫠
Awww, glad he got Tannie back in rhe end! He looks great and the black and white moodiness is perfect for the song. Still confused about the maintenance/janitor guy, after watching his Palette ep I can just picture Tae laughing at ARMYs theories and telling Yeontan his favorites, lol.
I wonder what Yeontan thinks about Tae creating this dramatic storyline centered around him, I hope he gets his royalties 🧐
