So… Did somebody steal Tannie? A dog walker? His jilted ex? A custody battle over Tannie who was originally Tae’s?
Was the courier deliver representative or the maintenance man with the master key in cahoots with the dog napping ring?
Was he trying to break into the house using a key that used to be present under the flowerpot, just so he can retrieve Tannie?
Or is he checking if the plant has been watered recently to find out if the dog nappers are still residing there?
so my theory is:
* tae was living with his partner and they had a bad breakup, tae moved out and tannie was with the ex * tae missed tannie too much and wanted tannie back so he went to visit the ex’s house, that’s why he was looking for the apartment key under the flower pots * tae realised his ex and tannie weren’t home, thus the driving and calling scenes * since tae used to live in the building, the building super (?) with the bunch of keys recognises tae and knows tae will ask him for the key, that’s why he runs away when he sees tae * tae then decides to wait at the playground that he, the ex and tannie will always hang out at, and the ex finally decides to let tannie and tae have their happily ever after
in conclusion: never separate tae from his tannie. the end.
