I know this is a hard one cuz there’s no way we can pick only one thing about them. Still, I want to know how many people share the same perspective and how many people have different perspectives.
My bias is Joon and he’s been my bias ever since I started stanning them (about 1 and half almost 2 yrs ago) and I am in love with the moments of him acting cute and immediately covering his mouth/face after that. That trait of him stands out to me and it’s just so endearing that I wanna cry out of that overwhelming feeling in my heart.
The way everyone else reacted to him is exactly how I[would react](https://youtube.com/shorts/1hS6-aK3oRk?si=ngLhgVN07HzVDSrc) and [here](https://youtube.com/shorts/KC4McnAJr3M?si=YRc2EmRQglRY2jzK) is another one.
Also, this my first time posting so forgive my shortcomings :))

Hmm lately with JK I’ve been admiring how blunt he’s getting. He’s finally standing up for himself after years of taking on all the criticism and internalizing it. Probably just a product of him getting older and more confident but it’s a welcome change!
my bias is hobi and one specific thing i admire about him is his voice. i love how raspy his voice is sometimes. i don’t know how to explain it but his voice is so soothing but deep. his singing voice is amazing, i love his low register. his rapping voice is so sexy. i just love everything about his voice 😩!! i’m obsessed
My bias is Hobi and I always admire how he lets himself feel scared but doesn’t let it stop him. Yes, he freaks out about the idea of doing certain things, but then he does them anyway? That’s bravery right there.
My bias is Yoongi and I admire how deeply thoughtful he is toward his brothers, encouraging them to be more involved with their music and even coming up with Suchwita to give them a platform to promote their solo work.
I love how JK is becoming more confident. And as another poster mentioned, being blunt af with people.
But at the same time, being so open about how important ARMY is to him.
He makes it seem very genuine that it’s him AND ARMY versus the rest of the world and I think it’s the coolest thing.
Plus, we can talk about the various media out of there of him being absolutely hilarious…and how freaking hard he works. And again, all that hard work for himself, AND for ARMY. 💜
Hobi is just so friendly and is such a good senior to everyone. You see him being kind and open to younger idols like TXT, enhypen, etc. And a lot of the times he is the moodmaker of the group, not being shy and just saying whatever he wants during interviews lmao
i think it’s yoongi’s endless and sincere passion for making music

when [he said](https://www.vogue.co.jp/article/2023-august-bts-suga-cover-interview-english)
>Now I’ve come to think of writing music as family – something that I will spend eternity with.
i was like, okay he is really in DEEP haha. i admire his passion probably because i don’t think i have this kind of dedication or love for anything unfortunately;;; i kinda envy him haha
I was originally typing this out about Taehyung specifically, but the more I did, the more I couldn’t help go OT7 with this.
Their humility astounds me on a regular basis. They have every reason to be cocky for a million reasons, but rarely if ever have I not seen or heard about them being the most humble group of guys.
In some ways, I think they’ve influenced each other in this. We probably have their families to thank for this in large part.
I think Jin is a great example of someone who grew up on the wealthier side (allegedly?) who has not let that influence his ability to remain humble. No doubt his parents instilled that in him at a young age. And I wonder if, considering he’s known as the mood setter often times, if he strongly influenced the others in that area as well.
I think a lot of it also comes from how difficult their journey has been. They clawed their way to where they are now and I think it really kept them level-headed in the long run. Any time I have seen them be a little on the cocky side, it doesn’t even seem cringe because it’s so well earned.
Regarding Taehyung, I think his humble beginnings and his blessed Grandmother have had such a huge fundamental influence on his humility. It never ceases to amaze me how courteous and gracious he is considering the attention he gets. He plays it off well, too, sometimes which is actually something I think he learned from Jin. That trait in them together is probably why I ended up dual-biasing them.
I hope they all never change in this way. 💜
Suga’s savage-ness. At one of SUGA’s live, someone asked him to speak English. He said no. For me, its very disrespectful to ask him or any of the members to speak English. They should speak English only when they want to. The lives has translations. You admired a Korean idol so deal with his language.
I just love and admire how open Jimin is about giving affection, as well as being vocal for when he himself wants affection/attention. It moves me deeply as someone who struggles with that stuff 🥹I love him so much 🩷
Yoongi’s gentle voice. Just hearing him talk makes me feel so safe and calm
My bias is Jin and the one thing I admire most is his constant confidence. I am highly introverted and could never express the amount of self-esteem that Jin has. I truly admire his ability to love himself and his constant ability to show the world how much.
My bias is Jimin, and I adore how loving and supportive he is. Granted, I think they’re all very loving & supportive of each other, but whatever his approach is, it just clicks with me. He’s also so very affectionate and sweet, and I love how giggly he is. There’s just this warm charm about him that I can’t put my finger on. It feels like home.
I also love how in touch he is with his “feminine side.” I put it in quotes because I think what’s feminine and what’s masculine is just what humans decided, but whatever it is, he embraces it. Like. Whatever it is he’s doing, makes him masculine af to me haha. I love it. I fucking love it.

Jin’s outlook towards life and choosing not to succumb under pressure is the perfect antidote to my overthinking brain so I admire it the most
suga is my bias and i love how he’s always working on improving his skills and isn’t afraid to try new things.
listen i kinda needed this post & the wholesome vibes in the comment section so thank you OP !!! 🥺
I double bias Jimin and Namjoon.
Namjoon took on the role of leader at such a young age. I really admire him for that. He has more on his shoulders because he has to act as translator in English interviews, most leaders don’t have to do that. And he gets so much dumb ass criticism and he takes what’s constructive and uses it to get better. He’s so open and honest with Armys. And he is a brilliant writer, he has an amazing way with words.
And Jiminie. It’s so clear that he has such a big heart. He honestly seems like such a sweet guy. He’s such an amazing friend, obviously he loves his members and has a special relationship with each one of them. He also works so hard, the fact that he had such a short time as a trainee and worked so hard to debut.
Hobi is mine and I just love to watch him dance. The way he moves, the flow of his body, from his scary turned out ankles to his beautiful fingertips. I just love that level of skill and dedication.
My bias is Hobi and if I have to pick one thing I admire it’s his confidence. He has had to work so hard his whole life to get where he is and he believed in himself and his talent enough to risk his entire future. Whenever I find myself wondering if I am capable of achieving a goal, or holding back from taking a risk, I remind myself of everything Hobi has achieved and risked and it helps me a lot.
Jin and his self-deprecating humor. It’s evident that he doesn’t take himself too seriously and I admire him for it.
Also the fact that he acts silly or makes himself look goofy on purpose to make others happy/feel more comfortable 🥺🥺🥺 such a sweet thing for me
I admire how Yoongi’s a true independent thinker, he’s not afraid to go against the current if needed. He’s unafraid to disagree with people and express his opinions, but what’s particularly delightful is that he’s not bullheaded. He’s openminded and willing to listen to learn more about the world.
My favourite thing about Jungkook is just how kind and big-hearted he is. Truly not a single mean bone in that guy’s body, and that’s admirable because he was a literal CHILD when he started to enter that snake-filled industry. Imagine growing up in an environment where you’re a teenager with five dollars and a dream just trying your best, and you have grown ass people around you mocking you and being mean to you…
I’m sure he’s got many, _many_ things he could be bitter about, but he chooses to focus on good things instead.
I admire Namjoon’s inner strength. It takes a lot of responsibility and courage to be the spokesperson for a group and he was only a teen when he started.
I think of their first English interviews in the US and how he hard carried them initially. He had to represent the entire group’s responses for the most part and introduce them to a large foreign audience. I get nervous in interviews in my native language so I can’t even imagine having to do them in a foreign one.
I admire the strength he’s had to face all of the misunderstandings and hatefulness. Yet he still continues to share his life and daily Namjooning with us despite some waiting to analyze every look, word, etc and create a narrative to paint him as a villain.
He has the courage to speak out or write about his beliefs even though he may receive backlash and will hopefully inspire more idols to do the same.
Namjoon continues to learn and educate himself and doesn’t strike me as someone who believes they know everything because they have a high IQ.
It takes so much extra pressure and time and stress to write music and yet he does all of this in between all of the dance practices, recordings, shows, media and more.
He inspires me so much in this regard and I am so proud of him. Namjoon fighting!
Edit: sorry to everyone for this long essay about ONE admirable trait 😅🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️
I really admire how gentle Yoongi is. He’s so resilient and confident and he certainly can be quite blunt, but there’s something so gentle and serene about him, in everything he does. Listening to him talk about music or life in general always feels like a very warm embrace.
I never really saw him as cold or savage or whatever people used to always call him, but now it does feel like he’s mellowed out a lot in the best way as he got older. He’s been radiating this quiet happiness and peace recently and I love to see it on him.
my bias is yoongi and i love the way he talks about life without sugar coating it. he has this way of acknowledging that hey, life sucks sometimes but it’s part of being human and it’s okay to struggle and not have it all figured out because eventually it’ll all get better if you just push through. i feel like i already had pretty similar thoughts as him w quite a few things, but he puts things into words that sound so beautiful and comforting and he’s really helped me change my mindset on life😌
Yoongi is my bias, and more than anything I really admire how he is so kind and gentle even after everything he’s been through. To have been through hell and not become a monster requires so much strength, and he didn’t just avoid becoming a monster, he’s an exceptionally sweet and thoughtful person. He’s been hurt and not only does he not hurt others, but he tries to heal them as well. He’s a beautiful human being. I love and miss him very much.
I agree with you Op, ever since I laid my eyes on Joonie, he has captured my heart completely. I don’t know how people are able to be normal in his presence. He just needs to ask, I will name both my kidneys to him.
This may not be the right answer, in a way, but the first thing that came to mind was Namjoon (bias) saying “Done is better than perfect.” Not his quote but I learned of the quote through him and I think it instilled in me a certain sense of it. I’ve always leaned towards perfectionism which highly impacted my anxiety in all the bad ways. Since this quote I’ve been changing my ways. Lately, I’ve run into the quote “Now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good.”
I think they go hand in hand. We do not need to be perfect in every aspect in our lives because that’s just setting impossible standards. But we can be good. And kind. And Namjoon helped me realize that with his quote. And thought us or reminded us to be good and kind, with the rest of BTS too. I admire that greatly.
My bias is V and I like how he is not afraid to show his unique way of thinking and behaving. He likes quirky stuff and he shows it confidently. His house is full of unique and quirky art pieces and figurines and it may look chaotic to some, but it is what makes him, him. And it actually shows in his musical taste, his recent solo ventures and in his fashion sense too. It takes courage to move against the flow, it is easier to blend in and become one with the crowd, he chose the bolder road. I love that for him everyday. I hope he finds happiness in what he does for everyday of his life.
My bias is Jung Kook and there are a few really good comments in here about his confidence and openness, which I agree with too.
But the specific quality that drew me to JK in the first place is what Yoongi called his “deep bowl full of love”. He seems to have enormous capacity to see the good in the world and to want to share that with others. He just feels like someone who has been raised on so much love it spills out of him.
When I first started watching BTS videos I noticed how much he showed his love to others and asked for it back in return – with hugging or holding the other members hands, reaching out for their support or affection, the Army poems and the letters etc. You can also see it in small ways in his solo MV behinds where he hugs or really connects with his dancers or staff.
It’s something I personally find quite difficult in my own life. And I admire how even though, like me, he’s an introvert and can be shy, he appears to be completely comfortable asking for and showing other people the amount of love he feels. Both to the members and to us as Army. (Obviously I can only speak to the parts of him I’m able to see).
It makes me feel oddly proud, and always want to support him.
I love how deeply Jungkook feels things. If a [movie](https://twitter.com/dreamjeons/status/1503843939983499273?t=QCcJwPYuiRwma_JRqa9h-g&s=19) touches his heart, he cries. If he thinks about [armys](https://twitter.com/taehyungsrarity/status/1222726129124962304?t=GA-DJx92sfshCD2D9yAOlA&s=19), he cries. If he hears a good [song](https://twitter.com/randomjungkook/status/1510654547454459909?t=etb0Htlj7s7Tb3xJQ5syyg&s=19), he cries. He’s so in touch with his emotions that it makes me happy. He has such a big heart, as Yoongi [said](https://twitter.com/JK_Glitters/status/1139059984501788672?t=DXtPbydOP6tFexCX8jnTTw&s=19).
And for Yoongi, I love how quietly he lives. How he assures us it’s okay to not have a [dream](https://twitter.com/btsthroughyears/status/1544188674077859841?t=BIjvg9ymhPC1CWt7LRsB5g&s=19). Or how he doesn’t wanna be a main character, but [supporting](https://twitter.com/syoogas/status/1539198589641302016?t=LEoCl0SYPqlc9DJWArDqGw&s=19) role 3. He’s such a huge star, but lives his life so gently and humbly. He just has such an amazing personality. I admire him so much.
Edit: Yoongi is the epitome of this quote. So adding this in:
> No one will know the violence it took to become this gentle.
I’m a Jin guy and I love how humorous and good-natured he usually is as the oldest member. He has the good husband energy and has a really great voice.
Hobi and JK have always been my biases, but I adore all seven so deeply at this point that I could write an essay on each one.
I’d like to talk about Taehyung this time. One thing I’ve always admired so so much about Tae is how filial he is, and always has been. Right from their debut days till now, he is so family-oriented, constantly talking about how much he loves his family. Back then when they would go on shows, when he won prizes, he would always say he’d bring it back for his family. He has mentioned how his dad is his role model multiple times, cherishes the watch he gifted him as his most precious item, and we all know about his grandparents and how much they mean to him. We’ve heard him on the phone with them, and he sounds so affectionate and loving. In this day and age where many of us are so isolated even from our families, where we find it hard to connect with them or express our feelings, this young man who has always been so openly affectionate and loving with his family just makes my heart so warm.
My bias is Yoongi. When I was first getting into BTS, I saw them responding to the question: “What would you do if you and a member liked the same girl?” Even at a young age, when they were still going for the bad boy ultra masculine image, he said something like, “That’s up to her. I won’t force her to love me.”
BAM. Forever bias.
Add to that how he cares about the struggles of poor people because he knows what it’s like to go without. And his openness in discussing his mental health, which has been like looking in a mirror at times, and he has a huge chunk of my heart for forever.
Oh shit, sorry you asked for ONE specific thing 🥴
Jin is my bias and I love how he has posted monthly updates for us while he’s in the military. It just really shows how much he cares about us and what a kind heart I really think he has. He is just such a sweet soul. I miss him. 😭
Joonie. His depth. He’s a complex person and deep thinker. Indigo exemplifies that. Plus, it rocks! Album of the Year, baby!
