Anybody more familiar with these producers – can y’all tell me if we can expect something more like Euphoria/Begin/My Time/Still With You here? I mean, I’m all for his Pop Boy era (“loving you right” and Alternate version supremacy), but I do miss his OG work a touch.
Shot Glass of Tears is a great title 👌 I’m really looking forward to this album and whether it’ll be the perfect pop album I’m expecting.
I don’t mind JK not having any credits on this one*. He wants to be a main pop boy and this is clearly his Western-focused attempt. I’m expecting a more personal album after his military service.
Which isn’t to say this album won’t be *him*. JK clearly loves 3D and Seven, so I’m sure he’s signed off on all the songs.
*Nor RM as a songwriter or Suga as a producer. They’ve both been very busy with their own music/projects in chapter 2 and they are/were on deadline.
Edit: I’m secretly also a bit glad it’s all in English. I love their Korean tracks, but ngl singing along to every line of Seven and 3D in my car has been *fun*
