He did so much in the limited time he had and left us with a special gift that’ll tide us over until he comes back.
I love the last verse and how the drums hit just right with his voice.
Wow we made it to one year already!! I wonder if he’s thinking the same thing today. Not long until our Wootteo returns 🥰 Also now that I can see the end is near I’m getting so excited for next year. A whole Jin album soon?!
i can’t believe it’s already been a year… i still remember the emotional wreck i was watching the MV and listening to jin sing “and i looooove youuuuu” with everything inside of him, and i can never watch the live performance without crying at the end too.
i’m so glad & grateful he reached out to coldplay to make this song for us, and that coldplay readily agreed 🥺 less than 8 months till our astronaut returns to us!

It’s been a whole year damn :’) I still can’t look at the last frame of the MV where he’s gazing into the camera without tearing up a little. The Astronaut is such a pretty song, full of Seokjin’s love for ARMY, reflected so well in his simple but profound lyrics, and the way he sings every line. So grateful for this beautiful project 💜 we also got the cutie Wootteo, which has been a staple of Coldplay concerts ever since.
This pretty much sums it up for me.
He was absolutely stunning in the photos for this. I hope he has something more up his sleeve for us, when he’s ready, of course.

The Astronaut came out the day before my wedding so I missed the hype at the time, I was a bit busy lol 🙃 so I’ll take my chance to gush about it now!
Jin has a beautifully emotive voice, and it’s only amplified by how he writes about his own experiences – so this song just hits me right in the gut and I usually cry when I listen to it! Sometimes from sadness but more often than not, just because it’s so thoughtful and beautiful and comforting. It’s a song for ARMY, but also for his family, his friends and his Bangtan brothers, and I just love his big kind heart 😭 also I’ve always loved his voice but I genuinely think it’s the best he’s ever sounded here? Absolutely flawless and a great showcase of his lower range which we don’t hear a lot of.
Also the music video is so SO good – I love when MVs tell a story and it was so unbelievably cute 😭 So many tiny details and Easter eggs too, it’s a masterpiece. His smile when the girl rides her bike for the first time, the long run down the road, and his wide eyes when he realises his home is on Earth are my favourite bits, but really I just adore the whole thing.
I’m a Jin bias so I’m absolutely desperate for him to come back, but what a gift he left us in the meantime. I need some comfort today so I’m off to watch it again 🥹
I can’t believe it’s been a year, time’s passed by pretty fast! I’ll be looking forward to his album once he completes his military service, until then, I’ll just keep listening to his songs, and rewatching his content. I miss him a lot a lot!

Astronaut and whole story about became my personal love. It’s involved me completely. Wootteo somehow became my animation hero and I really appreciate it because he is keeping me motivated and inspired in digital painting studies. I wouldn’t believe one year ago if someone told me I’ll make animations till late night and start my Tiktok account.
