2 years ago today, Jungkook released his cover of Harry Styles’ “Falling”

this remains as one of my favourite covers jk has ever done. it highlights jk’s ability to emote so beautifully (i ascend every time i listen to his extended high note in the bridge), and it makes me particularly excited to hear the pop ballads in ‘golden’ – give me sad, angsty jk singing his heart out about lost love & heartbreak!!

I feel like we always say this but I cannot believe that was two years ago. This is still in my top three favorite covers from him.

This is SO beautiful, it’s been on rotation for me ever since I first discovered it. Beats the original for me hands down.

Listening to this again reminds me just how extraordinary his voice really is. It’s so versatile. You can hear slightly deeper nods towards Harry’s voice in it but still sounds so very Jungkook. And it’s so warm its like he’s singing it right next to you. I don’t know how he does it but it will always impress me. 💜
