>HYBE and MBC reconciled. Hybe Chairman Bang and MBC President Ahn Hyung-joon were present to discuss ways to develop K-pop ecosystem. According to Hybe on 30th, meeting was made due to MBC dialogue proposal. On this day, MBC reportedly conveyed regret for what happened at company in connection with Hybe Labels artists in the past.
The feud between Hybe and MBC back to 2019. BTS, who decided to appear on MBC gayo grand festival 2019, will be absent due to appearance on New York Times Square stage. BTS appeared in both SBS and KBS year-end song programs. At that time, Hybe demanded that BTS appearance on MBC be replaced with pre-recorded one, but failed to agree with MBC.
