Omg Closer to You and Standing Next to You sound so good. Somebody is another one that stands out. Standing Next to You reminds me of a 70s funk song or something, but I can’t remember which one 😔
Sounds like an album full of hits! I’m really feeling Closer To You, Standing Next To You, and Hate You. (coincidentally, all of them have you in the title..) Hate You’s lyrics.. damn. It hits.
As much as I love pop star jungkook I am so happy we got a ballad there, his vocals sound so beautiful in Hate You 🥹

Standing Next To You sounds like a bop!
Too much happening today 😭 why’d this preview make me emotional? I think it’s because “Shot glass of tears” at the end felt sad, and with Golden in lights up there like that, I dunno, felt like we were saying goodbye to something.
The title track, Yes or No, Hate you, Too sad to dance and Shot glass of tears sound like they’ll be my faves, but I honestly loved how every song sounded. This album sounds so well produced, so slick. And JK tried out a lot of different singing styles, had me gasping with surprise every so often here. I’m so excited for release day! 😭
JK definitely outdid himself. The visuals for the preview of each song are just soo good! And the teaser we get for his new songs … I can’t wait to hear the full version. Especially Hate You – the song instantly pulls me in.

I’m so hyped for this! Definitely love some of the slower/sadder songs. He does such an excellent job conveying emotion when he sings and it shines in that style.

This visual is so clever and JK looks really good. This is also one of the first times I haven’t instantly thought ‘cute’ when I saw him, although him getting stood up with flowers came close. So his *I’m not cute* agenda is starting to work! And I want his jacket.
Really like the cinema concept. A few other people have talked about the film/cinema concept for Golden, and this seems to reflect it.
Lots of very different vibes in this. It’s truly giving massive pop star energy. I’m still most drawn to Closer to You and Hurt You after this, but looking forward to how the whole thing plays out!

I’m so proud of Jungkook for doing a whole English album. His pronunciations, delivery, and just fluency shines through. He’s worked really hard. All of these new songs have different sounds to them both musically and vocally! Loving Standing Next to You, and Yes or No. Hate You and Shot Glass of Tears is going to make me cry. All of these previews create a bittersweet love story. Too Sad to Dance will be one of those to get you dancing but lyrics are sad. Jungkook is laying in a field of flowers in Closer to You like Joon in WF. Loving to see different parallels too!
I can already tell I’ll be listening to this album nonstop. I loved it ALL.

When I tell you I was positively skeptical about an all English album before… Well skepticism gone! These sound amazing! I’m so excited to hear the different musical styles and emotional takes from JK. Most excited for “Standing Next to You”, “Yes or No”, and “Somebody” right now. We’ll see if my fave predictions hold on Friday. 😆💛
Loving the sounds and they have the JK trademark, whatever that is. You can tell. It’s got hit album written all over it.
