He is such a gentle, soft-spoken soul :’) caught myself staring so fondly at his lovely face the entire time (the heart-eyes they draw in animes is honestly so relatable) I don’t fully understand Korean but I think I got most of what he said, and I’m so happy that he truly got what he wanted to do with this album. I hope his promotion period goes well too (no injuries or illness please 🤞), and that we all have a wonderful time enjoying this album together 💜
I love how self-assured he was talking about the album and answering the press questions.

…On a completely unrelated note I’m obsessed with that green velvet couch!!
As if I couldn’t love him more. He’s so soft and gentle in this. You can sort of tell he’s nervous in front of the press (via video), but he’s also really open and honest with his answers.
My favourite, because it’s just so Jungkook is: “I’m still not good enough, but right now I’m good enough”.
So hard on himself but I like that he talks about how he has grown and what he learnt this year. His focus on performance and how things will look is so clear. He did drawings for his concept of the Standing Next to You performance!
There’s also a really interesting answer to a journalist’s question about why the album is all in English. He’s pretty honest that it’s because the focus for this album is the overseas market. Although he does also say he wanted a challenge. And he hopes to do Korean solo songs in the future.
