Hi r/bangtan!
Please use this Megathread to post all press coverage, from Fuse to Billboard, Osen to Korea Herald to less notable articles or reviews related to Jung Kook’s ‘Golden’!
**Note 1:** If it’s from a very notable outlet, such as Rolling Stone, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, etc. it can have its own thread. Outlets that commonly report about BTS (like Fuse or Billboard), or don’t have the same kind of readership/reputation as the aforementioned outlets, will be redirected to the megathread.
**Note 2:** The usual rules regarding articles and clickbait apply. Articles that would normally belong in the weekly thread are listed here, but blatant clickbait, blog posts by other than professional journalists, and articles from blacklisted domains still won’t be!

The Evening Standard: [Jung Kook – Golden album review: the BTS singer shoots for solo stardom](https://www.standard.co.uk/culture/music/jung-kook-golden-debut-solo-album-review-bts-b1117636.html) (4/5 ⭐️)
Not sure what I feel abt the sub-headline, though, cos we know he is going soon
>The K-pop group’s most rebellious member is still too young for military service, and so instead, he’s having a ball making smooth, fluid solo pop
Best part
>What elevates it is his fluid, expressive voice, which consistently raises chart-friendly material to a higher plane.
Positive reviews but some weird inaccuracies, calling JK the first solo member to have a no 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and saying he’s too young to enlist. But lazy journalism aside, I’m glad JK is getting the positive recognition he deserves.
