Listened to it when it aired and was a bit baffled about how they pulled this off – the audience absolutely sounds live, I’m guessing they had them sign very strict NDAs. Also felt it was shorter than I expected – only three songs and a short interview.
I wonder if this is going to be repeated tomorrow per the official BH schedule or if it’s something different.
Also assuming they recorded this when he was in LA a couple of weeks ago.
Those live vocals with the band are incredible… everyone who gets to see him live next week on the TODAY performance is soooo lucky

I’m ascending to the heavens. “STANDING NEXT TO YOU” is really up there with “LIKE CRAZY” for me, among the best TTs released, you cannot listen to this and be like ‘nah, it’s not good’. I need a video of this live though, like NOW. 😭
