Honestly love seeing that not only they had to walk back all the nonsense they started for HYBE artists, they now also have to treat artists as a whole better regardless of the companies they’re from.
Broadcasting stations may be finally waking up and realizing in an online, social media age, they don’t actually hold all the cards.
I’m glad this worked out well, especially for the junior groups and perhaps smaller companies that this may benefit. HYBE basically strong-armed MBC to admit their wrongdoings publicly, and I hope this atleast in a small way helps to improve the industry working conditions. Even though this feud didn’t impact BTS in any significant way, I must admit all their performances on MBC Gayo over the years were my favorite ones, such iconic covers and that “Go Go” heart perf, still my favorite to re-watch.
