231109 BTS: Yet to Come on Amazon Prime Video Discussion Megathread

Edit: Omg. I have SO MUCH work to do, but I have to at least watch the opening Mic Drop/Run BTS combo.

Edit 2: Omg I remember seeing Run BTS for the first time, it was like I was having an out-of-body experience. As a baby ARMY it was my first time seeing new choreo along with everyone else at the same time, what a moment to witness! And then Weverse crashed, lol.

The Mic drop / Run BTS opening combo is one of the best ever. Gets me so hyped. Had to turn it off after that otherwise my work productivity would be at a solid 0% 😂😩

ah it’s time to activate my free prime video trial. can’t wait to watch the whole thing!

I have been counting down the days since I heard this will be released in Amazon. I have been missing OT7 so much. I’m glad it’s here. I watched the whole thing as soon as I could.

My boyfriend Namjoon is back in his pink shirt and pearls. I will forever cherish this Namjoon. He was on 🔥 during cypher 3. The man had emotions.

Mic drop and run bts as the opening sequence to this concert will always awe me. BTS are performers extraordinaire and this sequence captures this essence of them.

I miss hobi. I miss jin. I miss yoongi. These were the thoughts that popped into my head at various points. Yoongi did a stance or Hobi said something sweet or Jin had an expression. I miss them.

Fire and Idol are really, really good hype songs.

Now for my gripes:

>!1) Why did they edit it out ICONIC Jimin’s handle bar motorcycle move? Boo.!<

>!2) Where is my wailing guitar before spring day?!? Where???!<

>!3) In fact, the live band and the crowd seemed less lively in this version? I remember in the live stream the crowds being crazy and the live band was masterful. This felt muted?!<

>!4) Was this the version we got in the theater? It feels different. It’s not the same version, right? It’s shorter?!<

>!5) If you couldn’t tell, I didn’t like the editing too much in this version. I hope this is the not the one they will be releasing to dvd. I want an extended, minimally edited version of the concert.!<

I will watch this again tomorrow, so I may edit my thoughts. Need more OT7 in my life. Despite my complaints, this concert remains a treat for me. I love it.

I had forgotten for a moment that this was coming out tonight! Best time to remember these things is 4:30 am, right? So I find it, get it going, get my subtitles on, get through the intro, the guys dance out under that red light, Hoseok says “Make some noise” and immediately I have to pause due to tears.

…might be missin’ them a lot this week.

I keep tryin’ to figure out if the mix is muted or all that different from when I saw it in theaters, minus the being quieter because I don’t have that good of a sound system. There’s far more translated than in theaters, though, and I am liking their choices for lyrics so far. Though it looks like they’ll never get those “Go Jay!” shouts correct 🙂

Rap Line section starts at 32:24 (where, if possible, I am going to wear out some electrons)

EDIT: I do not remember this much footage of Yoongi gettin’ down to Joon and Hobi’s verses in “Cypher 3,” but I highly appreciate it. And it’s cool to see how their personal backgrounds start to meld into each other’s at the chorus. And I’m amused at how much swearing the subtitles didn’t hear
