So nice that they put it up on YT alrd….30+ mins… will hv to wait till the morning to watch 😴
Only 10 minutes in and it’s making me mushy. 🥹 *(repost from other thread)*
**Edit.**
Okay I’m going to need Zane to do all the interviews moving forward. So much research and thoughtfulness went into this interview and a focus – like this wasn’t a quick “get in, get out” interview. There was just a slowness to it that is missing in a lot of media these days. Both from Zane and Jung Kook – taking their time to ask and answer.
Jung Kook has grown incredibly throughout this Chapter. There is such a more mature vibe to him – love it.
Definitely going to watch it again for more tidbits but loved Jung Kook’s thought or process of leaving the past in the past and focusing on the present and future.
FYI – my phone sometimes autocorrects “Jung” into “King”. 😊💜

Already loving how much Zane seems to understand BTS — he did a lot of research into the band and dynamic.
Really grateful JK has this space to talk about his Album. I’m only like 15 in and this is so great already.
Wow 34 minutes?!
> I think the synergy of BTS in 2025 will be incredible, I am so looking forward to it
This was such a great interview. He’s so well spoken and sincere.
And can we talk about the view? Wow 🫠
I watched all together right away-the questions were really well thought
Jk’s appreciation to his fans is so touching every time he speaks about them you can feel he doesn’t not only speak to the air
such a lovely interview – i love zane lowe’s style of creating a chill space for artists to open up, which reminds me of anthony bourdain.
I knew of Zane Lowe through his interview with Harry Styles that I really enjoyed, so I knew I was going to enjoy this. Jungkook is so lovely 😭 he is so thoughtful and intelligent, but also so sweet and laid back. I feel like he would be so comfortable to interview. He really seemed so mature here!
As always, my heart melts over the way he talks about Army. I’m sure part of me is as delusional as I am realistic, but to this day, the relationship between BTS and Army is so special and I’ve not experienced anything like it elsewhere. Like, just look at Jungkook as he talks about Army here — he is so sincere and loving. It just feels GOOD to be a fan of someone where there is a deep mutual respect for one another.
I’d really love more long interviews/discussions like this (and would also love for Zane to interview other members, too)!
I **loved** this interview, they definitely need to do more interviews like this one! Props to Zane Lowe, he’s a great interviewer and had clearly done his research which made his questions fun and interesting. We got 30+ minutes of Jungkook freely talking about his thoughts and feelings??? Absolutely feasting.
It is such a lovely interview, Jungkook looked comfortable and natural. His answers felt very honest and consistent to what we have been hearing from him so far! The last one where Zane asked about HYBE essentially existing because of BTS – JK answered it so well, it showed how insightful he is!
One of my Bangtan pet peeves is interviewers asking them nothing but trivial questions when they’re seven multifaceted, hugely talented men, so I really appreciate Zane Lowe for his proper in-depth, genuine, respectful discussions.
I love how JK really thought about each answer and I enjoyed getting to hear about his earlier years. And yes I teared up when he said he missed OT7 being with him 🥲 I wish I could be more like him re: living in the present – I’m always looking to the future and missing what’s going on right now! Anyway I loved this – I really hope there will be a lot more interviews like this in Bangtan’s future!
I really loved how Jungkook felt comfortable to flat out disagree with Zane when he said that all the other celebs he’s interviewed really need to have a separation between their on stage persona and their off stage person. JK was very clear that that doesn’t apply to him at all, that they are the same person. He’s a very strong person our maknae. It seems he’s very comfortable with being a star, which is good to hear, because I would find it an intolerable pressure, but to him his life as a superstar is just his life, it’s normal and fine
3 takeaways for me – JK is wysiwyg. I’m blown away by this because I don’t trust public people to be authentic no matter who they are or what they say but he comes so damn close to being so consistent in the way he is and what he says. The fact that he rejects the idea of splitting his persona and wants to remain the same is such a huge undertaking for someone who grew up in the spotlight. – ARMY are so important to him! We are his literal baes lol. I always ridicule myself for how much I think about them but he’s right there with me! There’s so much mutual love and respect I would never want to let it go. – JK is unpredictable and enigmatic even for himself lol. While he’s a sponge by his own admission and easily learns from those around him he ultimately follows his passions, which he’s exploring and open to changing his mind. I love that this is a source of relief and not fear for him!
I’ve always loved Zane because of his thoughtful questions and he was on brand again. I like the special shout out to Jin 💜 and I also agree that JK has a great ear for music because Hate You was instantly my favorite from the first listen. He knows what he’s doing 🙂

They are all looking forward to that!
