7 years ago today, V came up with the phrase “borahae / I Purple You” to express that BTS and ARMY will love & trust each other till the end

i still think it’s incredible how tae thought of “borahae” and its meaning on the spot then, but it’s grown to be our own language to solely express the love BTS and ARMY have for each other, and from that point on, purple became our defining colour too 💜 happy 7 years 보라해!

i was also just reflecting the other day how much more attracted i am to purple things ever since i became ARMY, and now it’s one of my favourite colours to wear. i’ve never been so acutely aware of an artist’s associated colour before till bangtan, and it was fascinating to realise how much they’ve permeated my life, but i don’t regret it a single bit 🙂
