Hmm, I guess there really is only one version [available](https://weverseshop.io/en/shop/GL_USD/artists/2/sales/20295). I’m a little bummed because I really like the Blu-ray/DVD versions.
As for everyone asking why not the last day of PTD LA, I think they picked those two days for its special significance. **PTD LA Day 1 was the first concert BTS had in person since the pandemic began, and PTD LV Day 4 was the last concert before their break.** I wonder if we’ll get BTS’ reactions to both concerts. Guaranteed tears will be shed (from me mostly). Bittersweet really…
On a positive note I was there for PTD LA Day 1 and was so happy they performed WAB: The Eternal live. But why didn’t they include the Answer: Love Myself performance too? 😭😭
Well, that’s super disappointing. But I’ll still buy it since the two concerts included were days I was there. So they got me again. They always get me. 😂
ETA: Jeesh, that’s a lot, though, for a digital code. WHY is there not simply a VOD option with no physical stuff?

Hybe plz I would sincerely purchase a 20 hour dvd set of every PTD concert and a box of loose ginger Yoongi photo cards. They both take advantage of my inability to say no and miss the opportunity to take even more of my money at the same time!!
I miss Jin so much, his bday event would have really carried me through the end of enlistment 🥹
Didn’t Disney plus already show the first weekend? I was hoping the dvd would have the second weekend for LA since I only went then 🥲
I won’t lie I’m extremely annoyed this doesn’t have a physical release. I buy this stuff on Blu-ray so it doesn’t need the internet and isn’t attached to a server with an unknown lifespan 😑
RIP to DVDs and Blu-ray’s…it looks like HYBE really is taking all their groups that way (Newjeans’ memories “yearbook” that has their fanmeeting concert is digital code only too.)
I’m so perplexed by this decision making. I know they want to bolster their online platform, but at the expense of the profit they definitely would have made on the dvd and Blu-ray sales (especially when may people buy multiple versions) is an interesting choice.
I guess I’m getting this because I have no other option, but I can’t pretend I’m thrilled about it. I could be playing my Sowoozoo Bluray 20 years from now – but I can’t predict what HYBE will decide to keep on their servers, and for how long. They say “forever,” but there’s always a fine print.
Edit: Thinking some more – I am now wondering if they released the LY:SY Seoul Finale blu-ray without any photocards as a litmus test to see who was buying the Bluray for the format vs the random inclusions. I know compared to previous releases such as Sowoozoo where the Blu-ray’s had their own cards, I’ve barely seen any LY:SY Seoul Blu-ray’s on the secondhand market.
If they realized people were buying for photocards and not the discs (which when you look at secondhand markets, it’s pretty evident the extent that goes to) then maybe they felt comfortable they could scrap the disc format entirely and still sell. I’m sure the 7-card set is their sort of pacification for users being forced into a format they don’t want to support.
Oh god… orange yoongi in the random PC thing but not in the set 🥴 that aftermarket is gonna be expensive 💸
Edit: $82 usd… and shipping? 😬 maybe I’ll wait for it to come to my favorite kpop store bcs at least that way I get reward points…
It’s $82 for VOD codes, two photo books and pcs. I really want to watch the concerts and content but it’s very hard for me to justify paying that much with no dvds/blu rays. Idk…

Hmmm, I’m really not a fan of the digital code format. I much prefer DVDs, so I’ll probably skip this one (my bank account just let out a sigh of relief 😂).
I’m really not much of a merch person so I’m sad there’s never been a video only option, or just the photocards and video option, for all their DVD releases. Maybe it’ll be available using Jelly to purchase? I’ve seen that for some of their content.
*Sigh* It makes no sense at all that they’re going to force us into buying a physical set when there’re no DVD/Blu-rays included in the physical package. Why bother sending something at all?! Just give us a VOD!
That being said, of course I’m going to buy it, because I have no other option.
I was always going to be disappointed in this release unless they literally included every single second of preparations, all concerts, and the days after lol.
All I ever wanted was ALL details of how this mid pandemic / pre break concert was pulled off, with all their thoughts and feelings on it. PTD LA is **so** special to me and such a core memory, I’d pay and do anything to have all the things.
I really wish they would release DVD version for this one! 🥺 I love having physical copies of merch but most especially concerts.
This is really stupid. I would’ve spent way more money if they offered me actual physical media I could keep and play outside their platform. I wouldve bought both dvd and bluray as I have for their other concert dvds and memories the past 4 years. Hell, I would’ve bought a digital copy too (weverse only, not this digital code with “ecofriendly” packaging and inclusions greenwashed bullshit). Now I don’t know if I’ll buy anything. That’s a lot of money to spend when it’s not in the format I want.
People who want to watch but don’t want to pay to ship (the price of which is a constant complaint in the fandom) now have to sail the high seas or go without. So no one wins, except I guess armys who wanted a photobook but also to watch on weverse and have cheap shipping options. Maybe I’m underestimating how many there are.
A big reason I like enjoy being part of this Fandom and kpop is how fun it is for collectors and lovers of media. That is slowly going away, unless you collect photocards (I do not).
I’ll be so disappointed if HYBE is really going to release digital only from now on. That means the D-Day concerts (if they are released) may only be digital also. I really ***really*** want that on physical disc. I may have to go hunt down the $$ japanese version.
Is the pre-order gift one per album or one per total order?

I’m literally SO upset about this…
I really really want to watch it because I was there on D1, my first bts concert and it’s such a precious memory. And I would also love to know their thoughts on LV D4, but I have no use for the digital code. Our TV doesn’t have the app and otherwise I would only be able to watch on my old ass laptop. And paying that much + shipping for basically only the inclusions is just not justifiable. At least offer a VOD only then for cheaper? 😐
But I also know that it will be discontinued eventually, so if I actually want to watch it at some point, I have to buy now… why not just give us the dvd???
I swear, if I buy this and they come out with a physical release in a couple of months because people complained then that will be my last straw.
