Happy December everyone! What have you all played / read / watched lately?

I once again apologize for my length. 😅 I’ll probably be more brief after this lol.
**Play(ed/ing)**
I finished up **Virche Evermore -ErroR:salvation-**…
The character writing and emotional beats I loved. I really liked all the characters a lot! And while side characters are usually kinda just there to prop up the main cast in otome games, *these* side characters? Very memorable in their own right. I liked the plot for the most part, aside from lengthy scientific explanations for stuff in the game which just had me [like this](https://media4.giphy.com/media/2fs2I4ujlBf20/giphy.gif). I had to turn off my brain once any scientific terms started popping up omg.
Additionally, wonderful voice acting (as expected). Part of the reason I enjoy tragedies is because I love to hear a wide emotional range from the voice actors and whew this was truly a full course FEAST.

I hope the fan disk gets a localization announcement relatively quickly. Most of the game was absolutely devastating so I would like a *teeny tiny* bit happiness (though I heard the fan disk is also has despair). 🥲
Now I’m back to **Hana Awase -Karakurenai / Utsusu Volume-**, which made me have a laughing fit within 10 minutes of starting it up again so a nice change of pace >!though I know it won’t keep that tone throughout 💀!<. I’m excited to once again decimate characters in the card game and hear more *waka* recitation (yes, [this is a feature](https://i.imgur.com/jySDOUU.jpg) of the series lol).
**Read(ing)**
I finished Jade City. I really enjoyed it once I got past the slower start. I’m already starting Jade War and hoping it doesn’t take me as long to read haha.
**Watched**
I saw The Holdovers! It was a nice and enjoyable film, it felt cozy and would be a great watch closer to the holidays. I thought the main three actors were all wonderful, Da’Vine Joy Randolph in particular was fantastic.
