Has it already been a year? I feel like enlistment era just started.

This song makes me so emotional. I relate to it so much.

One of those songs which evokes instant nostalgia for me on hearing the first few notes. I feel like this song will only mean more and more as the years pass – the title itself (who knew this would happen when he started his “Hope on the street” way back in 2015?), that it features his long time hero J.Cole, that it got released as a gift for us just before his enlistment, and the beauty of the MV that really captures the exact sentiment he was going for – *”In this street, where someone’s breath dwells, I store my soul and my eternity”*

It’s been a year and I still get emotional when I hear the first opening notes. 😭 I still get teary eyed sometimes when I see the mv sometimes. Thankful that Hobi released something for us before he enlisted but it still makes my heart ache with how wistful it sounds
