Vampire Weekend partially cover Dynamite and shout-out J-Hope at their concert in Raleigh, NC – 241009

Howdy!

I was at the Vampire Weekend concert earlier tonight in Raleigh, NC, and for this tour they’ve been doing a Request Zone during the encore where people in the audience make song requests and the band attempts to cover them. I made a big sign that explained that J-Hope will be released from the military soon and asked them to cover Dynamite to celebrate, and they did! (They did their best lol, most of the covers are only partial.) Ezra also gave a shout-out to J-Hope which was nice 🙂

Was surprised by how many ARMYs were in the audience and cheering for Dynamite, the vibe was great!
