I was expecting a lot when he was going to finally release his first solo with a MV and promotions and everything but this…. this is ridiculous lol. To think his second week would still beat Butter’s first week by 18m… absolutely crazy numbers.

(It’s a shame we couldn’t get the fastest to hit 200m in history, but fastest male soloist… we take those! LOL)

I genuinely thought when Butter came out and after the quiet that came after Butter that we had hit our peak mid-covid…. turns out that throughout all of these solo projects the fandom was still growing and was just waiting for the right track.

I still think these are numbers entirely driven by the fandom… and that we still got very little in terms of radio spins and recognition compared to what it actually deserved.

Couldn’t imagine what a collab with someone like Taylor Swift would accomplish if this is what he could do practically on his own.

That is insane, just saying. We are still early in the hype, but it’s slowly taking off on Tiktok with +700k edits so far, the streams are insane and still above 10M after 2 weeks, like it’s definitely just not ARMY here. I’m curious to how long it’s gonna be at 10M for.

I think with such result, he can aim for a GRAMMY this year, he’s basically the only one competing with the few hits we had this year, including *Flowers*.
