Hello, hello! Once again asking what you / sharing what I read, played, & watched the past couple of weeks!

**Read**: I once again finished a lot of books.
The Doloriad: I don’t think I’ve ever felt such a profound sense of “[what the fuck did I just read](https://i.giphy.com/media/cNZmQ1qfjIZa4Xr3VE/giphy.gif)”. A very strange and not good time (though it’s not meant to be). Certainly a book that exists!
The Cybernetic Tea Shop: A little sapphic story between a programmer and a robot who runs a tea shop. It was very sweet and I liked the themes about humanity and grief.
Leech: I ADORED this. And by some strange coincidence, I had an eye infection while reading this which truly enhanced the experience LOL. It was a very interesting blend of weird post-apocalyptic medical gothic horror. You are following a doctor going up to a secluded mountain village to figure out why the previous doctor of said village died – also all the doctors are >!host bodies of a parasitic hivemind, which made for a really unique POV!< (not really spoilers but just in case). I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I finished up Amnesia Memories! I’m very happy to now have experienced a quintessential, archetype defining (within the genre) moment first hand. I keep thinking of what people must’ve thought when it first released or somehow managing to dodge all the jokes haha. My ranking (which is a mix of how much I liked the character & their route): >!Ikki > Kent > [Toma](https://i.giphy.com/media/fXJyMfUdqVCMPAnPJM/giphy.gif) > Ukyo > Shin. I will say though – on just an entertainment factor Toma is #1 hands down lmao I appreciated how unhinged it was!<. I might actually go watch the anime adaptation now even though otome anime adaptations are generally Not Good. 🤔 I’ll also probably pick up the fandisk at some point!
I also started a new save file in Stardew Valley! SV has become almost like The Sims to me – I’ll binge it for a short period of time and then put it down for months. It’s one of my favorite games to play while having a video, podcast, music. etc. playing haha.
**Watched**: I haven’t watched anything! Though I’ve been feeling Inuyasha nostalgia lately so maybe I’ll start a rewatch soon.

The constant release of albums and other paid content with incentives is giving me severe FOMO while at the same time is really hard on my bank account.
I’m glad that I started listening to BTS, but the pressure to collect and have all these items, or to watch and know everything about the team is overwhelming and exhausting.
I know I don’t have to buy everything. I know that. But the near constant barrage of notifications from their various social media makes it hard to not feel like I’m missing out or like I’m not part of the fandom, or that I’m not supporting them enough if I don’t buy/watch/listen to all their content.
I just needed to put that feeling into words.

Anyway… Here are my three new foster kittens. The two in the back are torti/tri-color girls. The orange in the front is a boy.
It’s taking everything in me not to name them Hobi, Yoonji, and Jimin.
If anyone has any more subtle BTS name ideas, let me know! 😹
i was given the option to name my public transit card. fun, right? i went with something jin related (it’s a pun, he’d appreciate it), not realising it would be right at the top of my receipts. the receipts i have to submit to claim my travel expenses from my employer 🥲
