Hello, darlings! I’ve been thinking a lot about what Joon’s new project. This [fun thing he’s working on but didn’t say it was an album](https://x.com/BTStranslation_/status/1711763755217121774?s=20) project. It could literally be anything and I’m having so much fun creating different narratives in my head.
For example, I think it could be Joon’s Cat Cafe & Art Space. Books, cats, art, coffee, [snacks, love](https://x.com/EUPH0RIAL0VE/status/1379417955172298752?s=20), and more cats. Yoongi can come work on the weekends. They’ll have open mic nights and the members who aren’t enlisted will drop by for surprise sessions or to make coffee in the cafe ([we know they’ve had lessons](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLFgr5fOqJs)). There will be a tip jar to raise money for cat rescue and 2025/26 concert tickets. Jin and Hobi will take over when Joon goes and film it for a reality show. Hilarity will ensue.
Since we could probably all use a little levity right now, *just for fun*, what do you think his mysterious project could be? Please answer as **unseriously** as you can. The more ridiculous the better.

Since I’m currently taking my driving lessons this was my literal first thought:
Joon is going to open a driving school! The rest of BTS will be driving instructors: Jin for stuntmen driving, wild chases etc., Yoongi and Hobi will be for regular driving – strict but fair instructors! JK will be the instructor for car racing and Tae and Jimin will be the professional drivers.
He is opening up an ice cream shop called Louder Than Cones and mint choco is the main flavor. He rides his bike to work of course.
Open Monday-Saturday, 2pm-8pm. He wears a little apron and hat. Sometimes he takes orders and prepares the ice cream cones but mainly prepares the cones.
He also has to clean up because he’s a messy person.
But he does all this with a smile because he’s cute.
It’s a 30 minute run time show to get us through until Jin comes back.
i know this is a sweet whimsical post but i’m genuinely curious about this – i was at the yoongi show where he performed that new unreleased song of his, so i thought that was a song off a new album. now that he’s said not to necessarily expect an album, i’m genuinely lost as to what it could be for. like is it a standalone song? is he doing a big collaborational album, sort of like ed sheeran’s done before? is it a soundtrack album? something just for fun? a mixtape he’ll drop on soundcloud without any real promotion, just as a gift to us while he’s away?
i’m leaning towards the last one – it makes sense that he’d tell us not to expect an official album without a proper roll out, he’s heavily implied that he’s been working on LOTS of new music, but he also said at the concert that that would be the last time he’d be performing on stage for a while, so i don’t think he’ll be promoting whatever it is. i honestly have no idea lol
Joon is writing a book titled ‘Things I Have Broken’. It’s part memoir, part list of things he has broken. Every page has a picture of the item and the story behind it; it’s over 500 pages long. Foreword by Min Yoongi. (‘Over the 13 years Namjoon and I have lived together…’)
